The well-known Argentine business newspaper El Cronista published an article written thanks to the May 10 conference organized by Common Sense Argentina´s IT in the US. Cesar DOnofrio, CEO at Common Sense, was interviewed, as well as other managers from Argentina’s outsourcing companies.

Some interesting notes:

  • According to the Observatorio Permanente de la Industria de Software y Servicios Informáticos (OPSSI), the area’s exports increased 222% between 2003 and 2009.
  • The cultural affinity and the same time zone are two positive points plus the Software Law in Argentina. These are great reasons for US companies to choose Argentine vendors.

The article also has an interview to Kirk Laughlin, CEO at Nearshoreamericas.com, you can read the English version here: http://nearshoreamericas.com/argentina-message-nearshores-laughlin/
