Product Camp Austin held last Saturday was a huge success!

Common Sense was in-kind vendor with its brand new app Common Schedule. After voting was done, all the sessions appeared at the pca7.commonschedule.com

Juan De Abreu, Leandro González, Juan Diego Raimondi and I from the Common Sense team attended last Saturday the 7th edition of Product Camp in Austin. Our team was very excited because, although it was our fourth time as in-kind vendors through Common Schedule, we were inaugurating the iPhone app and the name Common Schedule.

We were really happy that our app was greatly used with all platforms: mobile, iPad and desktop. If you were at PCA7 and used Common Schedule, you can send me your feedback to commonschedule@getcs.com

At the beginning of the unConference I attended some sessions, but I couldn’t be present at the opening because we were really busy uploading the last minute sessions voted with Jeremy Gorr

Product Camp Sessions that I liked:

  • Putting the relationship back into media relations – secrets for getting news coverage, by Dara Quackenbush
  • Strategy: Let’s fix it, please! by Prabhakar Gopalan
  • Avoiding Common Entrepreneurial Mistakes, by Tech Ranch Austin guy Kevin Koym

Networking

Product Camp always is a nice place to meet new people. I enjoyed having lunch with John Wohn, who shared nice tips about Google Apps, and Jim Stallworth.

Also it was great to meet Tim Hopkins, Dustin Donham and Tania Rodriguez at the Happy Hour!
