Dustin explained how the Windows Azure Platform is an elastic platform that provides application services at a higher level, compared to the non-elastic IT inefficiencies people are used to. We learned why Azure, the internet-scale hosted in Microsoft’s datacenters is a simple, reliable and powerful platform for the creation of web applications and services. Dustin also showed us how manually publish an application on Windows Azure, which was an interesting experience.
